Since I was young, that i belong to the world of arts and fantasy. When I was little, loved to draw, paint, model ... was mass patties or clay, pen, brush or pencil ... loved turning of nowhere, beautiful things.
Later, this passion for drawing and color has led me to study art and go through the world of architecture. During this period I developed an aesthetic and spatial today as Pastry & Cake Designer helps me to turn ideas in exemplary embodiments full of flavors.
Driven by the desire to learn to balance flavor, beauty and imagination, last year, i attended the course of Pastry and Bakery at pastry school in Lisbon and make a stage in five star hotel in Cascais.
The desire and demand of beautiful things and aesthetically harmonious, are critical factors in making each cake I make.
Each piece is born, expresses and makes my way of being and are always new and with a permanent desire to grow, before this great sweet world, which is the Confectionery and Pastry Arts.
The beginning of this enchanted world was born by the need to do something different and surprising to the 1nd anniversary of my 2nd daughter.
She wanted to run the standard birthday cake, pastries that our offer us ... and so I ventured ... but it was not easy ... actually ... not at all easy.
And so on the advice of a friend, I started to attend courses in cake decorating. It was love at first ... since then I never stopped!
Besides the ongoing Wilton and PME, I had the privilege of attending some Master Cake with internationally renowned designers such as Carina Costa, Debbie Brown, Margaret Braun, Kelvin Chua, Kaysie Lackey ... among others.
Because beauty is won with effort, soul, persistence, practice and dedication ... I left my previous activity to embrace this ... and I do not regret anything ... anything at all!
And I do not think I'll stay here ... overcome me is the word that best defines me ... and in this world of confectionery art ... there are trails and paths to explore;)
